3 Iron Mans!
(Get it? Like Iron Man 3 - which I coincidentally saw at the weekend and really enjoyed) More sketches preparing for my Iron Man commission - a more detailed sketch of the movie armour (Mark 42, I believe), and a couple of experimental posed sketches.

Dctor Who sketches
So, I just watched the Doctor and Clara's journey to the centre of the TARDIS (and I think I need to watch it all over again), so here's some sketches of him that I did for another commission.
Iron Man sketches
I was asked if I could do an Iron Man picture, so I spent quite a bit of time sketching him in Australia. He's a very different hero to the superheros I like to draw, and even to the cyborgs I've been doing in Acquisition, so it was an interesting exercise.

Been a while since I posted some new art, but I've been really busy getting towards a move to the far side of the planet. It wasn't until I spent a few weeks there that I got time to do some drawings, so, umm here's some mad birds from the Sydney Easter Show...

Acquisition, Page 5, shaded
I've been working on this page for ages now! Well, there's been lots of other stuff in the meantime too, but it's nice to have it done and shaded. As I said before, I tried a few experiments with the colouring / shading, and ... well, at least I learnt a few things, and that's ultimately what experiments are about.
