Electric Sheep Magazine - Twisted Romance

Electric Sheep magazine is a great magazine with "a deviant view of cinema", and a really good podcast (I can definitely recommend the one on 'Secret Societies'). September's theme is 'Twisted Romance', and I provided the illustration for it. This is combining images from 3 films they are reviewing and looking at:

La Piscine;

Days of Heaven;

and Lars Von Trier's new film Melancholia.

Does whatever a spider can...

My cousin Gill mentioned that her son, Louis liked Marvel heroes, so I did a few quick sketches, meaning to do them on a larger scale, but I ended up thinking the sketches were pretty good, so why not just colour them? Pretty happy with the results (I got the background from Silus Grok's flikr stream).
